Energy efficiency

We have opted for 100% renewable and sustainable electricity consumption by investing in photovoltaic energy installations.

Thanks to our high-efficiency cogeneration plant and the significant energy optimizations of our process, our facilities operate self-sufficiently in terms of energy.

  • 30% reduction in our GHG emissions since 2014.
  • We have developed a Life Cycle Analysis for our Sodium Sulphate with which to evaluate our Carbon Footprint or PCF. (The International EPD® System, www.environdec.com)

Restoration

Since the beginning of our activity, our demanding restoration policy has led us to recover 170Ha and reintegrate it into the landscape.

Started in 2012, a project for the planting of 5,000 holm oaks has been carried out, with the objective of capturing CO2 and improving biodiversity.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Recursos hídricos

  • In the last 10 years we have reduced the volume of water captured from the river by 30%.
  • We reuse 100% of the water generated in production in our operation, achieving zero net discharge to the river.

100% of our generated waste is recycled.
