Combined cycle cogeneration plant
We are an example of how high-efficiency and low-emission technology is effectively integrated into our industrial process.
As part of the energy efficiency strategy, Crimidesa, in partnership with Iberdrola, launched Enercrisa in 1996, a high-efficiency combined cycle cogeneration plant.
Thanks to this initiative, Crimidesa's facilities in Burgos are energy self-sufficient.
Since then, the use of old fuel boilers has been discontinued and in 2004 they were replaced with gas boilers. The objective is to continue increasing energy efficiency and reducing NOx emissions.
