We are part of a Spanish mining group with extensive experience in the mining sector and in the production of industrial minerals. We are committed to the highest European Quality standards to guarantee a homogeneous, high-purity product.
This company was acquired in 2001 for the exploitation of Europe's largest recognized wollastonite deposit (calcium silicate). It is located in Aldea del Obispo, (Salamanca) and its evaluated resources reach 100 million tons.
The main applications of wollastonite are found in the hollow glass and ceramic industries. It is currently classified as an "ecological" mineral because its use allows reducing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
