Energy Efficiency
Our main investments have focused on the installation of 5.5 MW of photovoltaic energy, committing to 100% renewable and sustainable electricity consumption.
Thanks to our high-efficiency cogeneration plant and significant energy optimizations of our process, our facilities operate self-sufficiently in terms of energy.
- 30% decrease in our GHG emissions since 2014.
- We have developed a Life Cycle Analysis for our Sodium Sulphate with which to evaluate our Carbon Footprint or PCF. (The International EPD® System, www.environdec.com)
Restoration
Since the beginning of our activity, our restoration policy has led us to recover 170 Ha.
Started in 2013 and recently completed, a project has been carried out for the planting of 5,000 holm oaks aimed at CO2 capture and biodiversity improvement.
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
- In the last 10 years we have reduced the volume of water taken from the river by 30%.
- Zero discharge to the river: we reuse 100% of the water generated in production in our operations.
100% of our generated waste is recycled.
